Become a member! Everyone is welcome. We have a monthly member call via Zoom on the first Tuesday of each month open to all members. All members agree to abide by our code of conduct.

Founding Circle Members donate at least $5,000 to seed our Gender Equity and Diversity Grant Fund ($10,000 if you are an organization/entity). If you would like to join us as a founding circle member, please contact us at or donate a minimum of $5K through the link below.

Members donate a minimum of $500 ($1,000 if you are are an organization/entity).  Members are invited to join our monthly calls and vote during our grantmaking meetings.  You will also receive our monthly newsletter, and be invited to any events we plan.

Supporters donate a minimum of $100.  Supporters will receive our monthly newsletter and be invited to our events and any activities around Gender Equity in Animal Rights (GEAR).

Our Grant Review meetings are in May and November.  Applications are due by April 15th and October 15th.

Our first in-person meeting of Womxn Funders in AR  was a vegan luncheon in Los Angeles on June 27th (pictured below).

The first event our members supported was the Gender Equity in Animal Rights (GEAR) Leadership Conference on June 27th and 28th in Los Angeles. For more details, please see the event website:

1) Support womxn and especially womxn of color in the AR movement
2) Build leadership skills of womxn in AR movement
3) Fund womxn-led and womxn-facing AR organizations
4) Invest in womxn-led companies that are disrupting animal agriculture and removing animals from the supply chain
5) Support womxn fund managers that are investing in 4)
6) Build out network of female investors and entrepreneurs from 4) and 5)
7) Fund newer AR organization that are led by womxn
8) Provide legal support to womxn who have been victims of sexual harassment and bullying in the AR movement
9) Fund and organize a womxn’s annual AR conference
10) Fund and organize workshops for womxn in AR around leadership
