Women Funders in Animals Rights is an inclusive group that seeks to empower women and other groups historically underrepresented in leadership in the animal rights movement.

We believe in the power of collaboration and collective action.
By pooling our combined wisdom and resources, we amplify our message and uplift women-led animal rights organizations—together.
We believe in equitable access to decision-making power. Therefore, all WFAR Members are eligible to vote during our grant reviews, and all Members are encouraged to join committees. Each voice has equal weight, whether a Member has donated $500, $5,000, or $50,000.

WFAR is managed by an all-volunteer Leadership Council made up of WFAR Members.
